Olympics Qualifiers: Waldrum Back To Lead, Plumptre In For Super Falcons vs Cameroon Clash

NIGERIA: American coach Randy Waldrum has returned to lead the Super Falcons against Cameroon in a 2024 Olympic qualifier.

It will be the first time he will do so since August 2023.

Various reports said Waldrum has agreed to extend his contract after it expired recently.

He led Nigeria to the Round of 16 at last year’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The Super Falcons are away to Cameroon in Douala on Friday, February 23, with the return leg fixed for Abuja three days later.

The NFF have called up 21 players for the Olympic qualifier.
