NSCDC commences training of recruited personnel in Anambra

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Anambra State Command, has commenced the training of successful recruited and documented personnel of Anambra State, who participated in the year 2019 NSCDC recruitment exercise.

Addressing the newly recruited officers at the State Command Headquarters in Awka, the Anambra State Commandant, Mr. Everestus C. Obiyo, congratulated successful candidates and urged them to be of good behaviour during the training.

According to him, “You are expected to display self discipline and dedication during your period of training, obey all training rules and regulations, and develop your mental capacity for efficient response to security issues,” he said.

Earlier, the Head of Training Department, DCC Kizito K. Emaikwu, admonished the trainees to be dedicated to succeed in their chosen career of service to the citizens, by paying attention to detail during the training period.

The training is expected to last for the next three months, where trainees will receive instruction in numerous areas, which include; induction, etiquette, ethics, rudiments of drill, and parade pathology, among others.

Upon completion of the initial three months training, the trainees will be selected in batches for Basic Training Course at the designated NSCDC training colleges and schools.
