•In Africa, Nigerian industrialist Aliko Dangote’s net worth surged from $28.5 billion to $51.3 billion after his oil refinery’s IPO.

According to reporting by The Indian Express, “ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming has become Asia’s richest person for the first time, overtaking Indian billionaire Gautam Adani as his fortune crossed $105 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index”.

Zhang’s financial ascent has been increasing and a remarkable way, expanding more than eightfold from an estimated $13 billion recorded in March 2019.

This rapid growth has been propelled by the global reach of TikTok alongside ByteDance’s expanding artificial intelligence initiatives, including the Doubao chatbot and Seedance video generator.
