…Harry Kane now has the choice to join Bayern Munich this summer after Tottenham accepted the latest bid from Allianz Arena
Tottenham have accepted the latest proposal worth over £86million (€100million) from Bayern Munich for Harry Kane, football.london understands
The German champions saw what looked to be their final bid rejected by Daniel Levy, however a new proposal has since arrived which has been accepted by Spurs.
It’s understood that the decision is now up to Kane over whether or not he completes a move to Germany or stays with his boyhood club. football.london reported earlier this week that Kane would stay at Spurs if a deal had not been agreed before the Premier League opener against Brentford, but he now looks to have got his answer.
The 30-year-old was open to all possibilities regarding his future, but he now faces the biggest decision of his career with a transfer to Bayern on the table. New manager Ange Postecoglou delivered an update on the future of his star man earlier this week after he scored four goals in a pre-season friendly win over Shakhtar Donetsk.
“I’ve said to them that if the status quo changes then inform me. I don’t need to know about the comings and goings in between. I just want to deal with what’s in front of me because I’ve got to still, irrespective of the outcome of that, I’m building a team here.
“I can’t wait [around] for a decision either way to get going. We don’t have the time or the luxury to do that. I’m working with what’s in front of me. You saw today that Harry certainly is invested in what we’re doing and we’ll keep on doing that unless something changes.”
