•The French footballer and former Arsenal striker has slashed the asking price by $1.75 million for his second attempt at a sale.

After retiring from professional soccer and relocating to London in 2014, Thierry Henry and his longtime partner, Andrea Rajacic, kept their Manhattan penthouse as a vacation home. They first put the combined triplex up for sale early last year when their visits to New York City began to wane, later pulling it from the market because of their deep attachment to it. Now, the couple has once again decided to part with the sleek Soho spread—this time with a significantly reduced asking price.

The Hall of Fame striker—famously known for his career at Arsenal and status as a Premier League icon—is seeking $25 million for the property. He and Rajacic acquired the duplex penthouse and the unit directly below it in 2010 for $14.85 million, shortly after he signed with the New York Red Bulls, before tailoring it to suit their personal tastes. Joshua Judge of Sotheby’s International Realty–Downtown Manhattan Brokerage holds the listing.

On the top three stories of a Neo-Grec cast-iron and brick building at 39 Crosby Street designed in the 1870s by architect Edward H. Kendall, the residence contains a total of five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and a pair of powder rooms. Roughly 6,000 square feet showcases 14-foot ceilings, while vast walls of glass and 3,400 square feet of outdoor space that includes a private rooftop terrace capture views of the Brooklyn Bridge and One World Trade Center.

A couple of deeded parking spaces and keyed elevator access allow the owner to step from a car and travel unimpeded to the home, which opens to a sprawling living and dining area on the seventh floor, featuring a gas fireplace and an adjoining terrace. Nearby, an all-white kitchen has custom Italian cabinetry and a marble eat-in island. A media room/sun lounge spills out to a terrace and bamboo garden, while an elevated mezzanine office overlooks the double-height great room below.

The plush primary suite on the sixth floor comes with dual baths, both with heated floors, a spacious dressing area, and additional closet space. Another en-suite bedroom, a laundry room, and a wraparound terrace complete the level, while three more bedrooms, a den with a kitchenette, two full baths, a powder room, and a secondary laundry room off a separate entrance occupy the fifth floor.

Topping it all off is the 1,221-square-foot roof terrace with a pergola, barbecue station, and dining and lounging area—all carrying a $6,787 monthly common charge.
