Cristiano Ronaldo inspires Al Nassr to glory with decisive brace against Damac as the club lift their 20th league crown
Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr finally have their moment of glory. After seven years of waiting for the club and four seasons of determination from the Portuguese superstar, Al Nassr have been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League season.
It was a night filled with emotion, celebration, and history as Ronaldo once again delivered on the biggest stage. The 41-year-old football legend scored a brilliant brace in Al Nassr’s commanding 4-1 victory over Damac, sealing the league title in unforgettable fashion.
For Al Nassr, it marks their 20th league title in club history and their first Saudi Pro League triumph in seven years. For Cristiano Ronaldo, it is another remarkable chapter in a career already filled with greatness.
Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in January 2023 following his departure from Manchester United. He made his competitive debut in a 1-0 victory against Al-Ettifaq, captaining the side and beginning what would become a historic journey in Saudi football.
Since arriving in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo has transformed the club both on and off the pitch. His impact has been extraordinary. The Portuguese forward has scored 129 goals in 148 appearances for Al Nassr across all competitions, including 102 league goals in just 107 Saudi Pro League matches.
He also became the first player in football history to score 100 goals in different leagues, while continuing to add to his incredible career tally of 973 goals.
Individually, Ronaldo has dominated the Saudi Pro League. He won consecutive Golden Boot awards and broke the league’s single-season scoring record after netting 35 goals during the 2023/24 campaign.
Beyond personal records, Ronaldo has also brought silverware back to Al Nassr. In August 2023, he led the club to their first-ever Arab Champions Cup title, scoring twice in the final. Now, he has delivered the biggest prize of all — the Saudi Pro League trophy.
History has repeated itself once again for Cristiano Ronaldo. When the pressure was highest, the football icon stepped forward and delivered. His brace against Damac will be remembered as the performance that ended years of waiting and brought Al Nassr back to the summit of Saudi football.
The league triumph also means Ronaldo has now won league titles in five different countries with five different clubs — another record added to his legendary career.
From Portugal to England, Spain, Italy, and now Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to prove why he remains one of the greatest players the game has ever seen.
For Ronaldo, records are not chased — they simply follow him. And even at 41, the legendary forward continues to write football history with every step he takes on the pitch.
