Rangers of Scotland left back Jayden Meghoma is open to the idea of representing the senior national team of Nigeria despite being eligible for England as well, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The 19 year old who is on loan from Brentford has so far used the opportunity to improve his game with a total of 31 appearances in all competitions, including playing in all of their games in the UEFA Europa League.
Although he has represented England from U15 to U20 level, he is open to the idea of representing Nigeria if there is an approach from the head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle.
Chelle is already aware of his willingness through an unnamed aide, who has been searching for players eligible for Nigeria for the Malian since his appointment.
As at the time of this report, no official approach has been made but it’s expected to come sooner, mostly likely at the end of the season.
