OGUN, Nigeria – The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, Mega Regional Headquarters, Lagos Region 19, Akute, Ogun State, has rounded off activities for the year 2023 on a high note.
It was indeed a climax of spirit-filled events – in what can be described as a befitting way to end the year; which was filled with several programmes organised by the church.
Sunday, December 31 was a special combined Thanksgiving Service, where the entire congregation worshipped in the main auditorium. There were various sections of thanksgiving – with the men, women, children, teenagers, youths, businessmen and women called up to the altar to give thanks and praises to God for a year of mercy, grace, favour, blessings and divine provision from God, Whom deemed it for His children to see the last day of the year.
It was a service full of resounding testimonies, as members took turns to share all the beautiful things God had done in their lives, giving praise and worship to His awesome name for His goodness and mercy.
The Regional choir demonstrated their dexterity by singing soulful hymns, praises and beautiful worship songs to the huge admiration and appreciation of the congregation. It was a day of joyful singing and dancing unto the Lord.
Pastor Ayo Smith, the Mega Regional Overseer was on ground to give a short exhortation and prophesy upon the lives of the members, putting in them in good stead to enter into the new year. He equally admonished members to embrace holiness as a way of life. The Man Of God asked congregants not to only be above board in all their dealings, but also hold onto God in faith and positive expectation.
He stressed that no matter how the year had been, it was important to keep trusting in God and keep hope alive because the year 2024 had a lot to offer to those who were on the Lord’s side.
The highlight of the occasion was the outreach to the needy both within and around the church, spearheaded by the Mega R.O, his wife and members of the We Care Group. Beneficiaries were happy and grateful to partake of the gifts which they received, even as they gave all the glory to God Almighty.
There church also connected to the International Headquarters in Onike, Iwaya, for the crossover service later in the day, with the General Overseer of MFM, Professor D.K Olukoya, ministering.
