Mbappe, Kane, De Bruyne Emerge Highest-Paid Players In Europe

Paris Saint-Germain striker, Kylian Mbappe, earns more than twice as much as any other player in Europe, according to L’Equipe.

The 25-year-old’s future has been a long-running saga after he almost signed for Real Madrid in the summer of 2022.

But Mbappe made a late U-turn and penned a new contract with the Ligue 1 side.

That made him the highest-paid player in Europe’s top five leagues, with the Frenchman taking home a staggering €6 million (£5.15m) each month.

Mbappe is on more than twice the salary of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, the second player on the list.

The England captain moved to Germany in the summer and earns €2.10m (£1.80m) per month, making him the Bundesliga’s highest-paid player.

In the top 10, he is narrowly ahead of Manchester City playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne, who rakes in €2.02 (£1.73m) monthly.

Making up the top five is Real Madrid defender, David Alaba, who receives a monthly salary of €1.88m (£1.61m).
