Kixstar Foundation, led by Kiki Omeili, has partnered with Living Vines Mental Health Foundation to support a health and wellness fair held on May 2, 2026, in Oke Odo community in Alimosho LGA of Lagos State.
The outreach was focused on educating girls and women between the ages of 13 and 50 on proper menstrual hygiene practices. As part of the initiative, participants received free reusable sanitary pads designed to last for up to one year.
Residents of the community turned out in large numbers, demonstrating keen interest in the sessions and expressing appreciation for the support provided. Organisers noted that the programme aimed to bridge access gaps for women who could not afford regular sanitary products while also improving awareness of menstrual health.
At the end of the exercise, reusable sanitary pads were distributed to women in need, with organisers reporting improved knowledge and understanding of menstrual hygiene among participants.
