Egyptian giants Pyramids FC is set to take on Morocco’s RS Berkane in the upcoming CAF Super Cup, following their thrilling 2-1 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League final.
The Egyptian side’s win marked their first-ever Champions League title and earned them a spot in the prestigious tournament.
The CAF Super Cup will pit the Champions League winners against the Confederation Cup champions, with RS Berkane qualifying after lifting the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup trophy.
This matchup also gives Pyramids a chance to avenge their 2020 Confederation Cup final defeat to Berkane.
