Inside Super Falcons Camp…Mummy G.O And The Rest 

It is no longer news that the Super Falcons qualified for the round 16 of the on – going FIFA Women’s World Cup and the team will file out against England on Monday.

However, the following are the camp gist from the 9th time African champions in Brisbane.

Two Days Off, No training

Super Falcons took two days off after playing goalless with Ireland on Monday. The team did not train on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Super Falcons visit Brisbane forest

Mat-Cook-tha Forest was the country side of Brisbane that the Super Falcons and their officials visited on Tuesday. It is a beautiful sight seeing environment, where anyone visiting can view some parts of Brisbane city.

The other side of Asisat Oshoala 

The other side of Asisat Oshoala aside football was seen in humility, as she helped some Australians to take photos.

Shopping day

Wednesday was another no training day for the Super Falcons. The team took about 20mins walk from their hotel to have another scene of Brisbane city.

Thereafter, the Randy Waldrum led team were given one hour to go for shopping at a nearby mall.

No injury worries

The good news coming from the camp is that no injury worries among the Super Falcons players. Sure the two days off from training is to make sure the players are fully fit when training resumes.

Mummy G.O in Super Falcons

There is no dull moment in the camp of the Super Falcons and it is quite interesting to note that there is a player they all call Mummy G.O and guess who? 

Rasheedat ‘Mummy G.0’ Ajibade

The answer is Rasheedat Ajibade. She is the Mummy G.O, choir mistress and the prayer warrior .
