NIGERIA: Popular Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, widely known as Tems, is no doubt the happiest person on earth right now.
The Grammy-winning music sensation, has expressed excitement ahead of her performance at the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show.
She said; “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.”
“I can’t wait. See you at the FIFA Club World Cup final!”
For those who don’t know, Tems will headline the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show, taking place at MetLife Stadium in New York on July 13.
The producers of the show, Global Citizen, disclosed this in a statement.
According to the organisers, Tems will be joined on stage by Colombian hitmaker, J Balvin and American pop star, Doja Cat.
