The countdown has continued for the much-anticipated Legends Showdown between Africa’s stars led by Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha and the Barcelona Legends spearheaded by Ronaldinho slated for October 25 in Abuja.
The event is organised by Attom Foundation in collaboration with ZMB Homes and WGI Sports.
Proceeds from this spectacle will support girl-child empowerment initiatives.
The game will kick off 3pm local time at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja and will bring together top legends like Austin Okocha, Emmanuel Adebayor, Nwankwo Kanu, Alex Song.
The headliner for the Barcelona Legends is Brazil super star Ronaldinho, who played alongside Okocha in the PSG squad between 2001 and 2003.
The former teammates will now be direct rivals in Abuja come October 25.
