Italian Serie A highest goal scorer, Victor Osimhen has surpassed Odion Ighalo, Samson Siasia and Ahmed Musa’s goals for the Super Eagles after recording a brace against Sierra Leone on Sunday, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
www.bsnsports.com.ng reports that Super Eagles striker, Osimhen, 24, has already registered 17 goals for the Super Eagles after 24 games and he is one goal ahead of the two ex-Eagles stars, Ighalo and Samson Siasia. Ighalo who has featured in 37 games for Nigeria netted 16 goals, Samson Siasia a former Nigerian international player who is currently retired as a professional scored 16 goals in 51 caps for the national team while, Super Eagles Captain, Musa, with 107 appearances also has 16 goals.
He will however be looking forward to meeting up with the goal prowess of Sunday Oyakherua, Obafemi Martins, Ikechukwu Uche, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Segun Odegbami and Rashidi Yekinni who have more goals than him.
